Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Started conversation May 15, 2007
So having finally bought Spare Parts (which is ace, and far better in my opinion than the TV stories for which it provided inspiration) and with Jubilee and the I, Davros series on my shopping list... what Big Finish CDs would you lot recommend I get?

Give some of the new Paul McGann ones a shot..starting with Blood of the Daleks. They're pretty awesome.

Thanks for the offer Joz, but I'd rather not get involved with illegal stuff.

Hmmm... I have no particular aversion to any of them.

Hmm...
O.k, that makes things a little easyer! You've already come across spare parts which really is amazeing.
Actually, give companion chronicles a shot. It's four stories told from the assistants point of view. Works really well on radio. Dalek, I love you is also quite good.

My only experience is of the McGann stuff that BBC7 have broadcast. Of those I'd recommend:
"The Chimes of Midnight"
"Blood of the Daleks" (which was much better than the dalek two-parter we had on telly this year)
"Human Resources" (which has an enjoyably-bonkers plotline)
"Immortal Beloved" and "Phobos" are also not too bad.

"Shada" is also brilliant (written by DNA himself)
and is part of the beeb's website
