For fans of the Doctor Who books range, this is bad news - author Craig Hinton died last week. He wrote a number of Doctor Who novels, including The Crystal Bucephalus, Millennial Rites and God Engine, and was at one time a columnist for Doctor Who Magazine. He was also a good friend, which makes this harder.
