Doctor Who gets the front cover of the Christmas Radio Times. I think this firmly underlines how important the programme has become to the BBC (and presumably, how important the BBC thinks it has become to the viewers).
Now, what are the chances of getting some Who-themed BBC idents for the Christmas period?

I will hopefully be getting the remote controlled Dalek, the sonic screwdriver and the DVD boxset of the first series for Christmas!!!

Ooooo, funky. The important question though is where to put the Dalek if I won it. It can't replace the Rubber Inflatable one as that was on a shelf.

My three cats will be really excited by my remote controlled Dalek (provided I get one, fingers crossed!), although it may not be so good if they run upstairs as unfortunately the remote controlled Daleks can't hover above the ground!

Going back to the original post, I think the chances of Who-themed inserts are quite good this year.

Oh...
I'll have to take a look over there if I get a moment.

I read about the idents in DWM and then promptly forgot (alcohol may have been a factor, ho ho ho etc) so they still came as a lovely surprise!
