I've seen some preview clips of Children in Need for tomorrow night and the Dr Who stint looks hilarious! Have any of you seen a listing of what time it might be on? I REALLY want to see that bit of it, but don't want to have to watch the fundraiser all night.
Ta in advance!

I believe it's some time between 9 and 9.30, but that's as much as I know. A half-hour slot for a 3-minute scene... looks like you'll have to watch some of it after all
Should be good. I'm hoping Catherine Tate is on in the same slot. Lauren asking Peggy Mitchell 'Are you a cock-er-nee?'

I've set my Media PC to record the whole sorry affair, so I hope it's in the middle of a half hour slot, otherwise it'll get chopped in half.

Does anyone else agree that If2871 is a little excited about seeing David Tennant in action?
And will someone please give her a dictionary of the correct spellings for the actors who have portrayed the Doctor!

CYBERHUMAN Posted Nov 18, 2005
Here are the correct spellings for the actors who have played the Doctor -
WILLIAM HARTNELL - The First Doctor
PATRICK TROUGHTON - The Second Doctor
JON PERTWEE - The Third Doctor
TOM BAKER - The Fourth Doctor
PETER DAVISON - The Fifth Doctor
COLIN BAKER - The Sixth Doctor
SYLVESTER McCOY - The Seventh Doctor
PAUL McGANN - The Eighth Doctor
CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON - The Ninth Doctor
DAVID TENNANT - The Tenth Doctor
Learn it, memorise it, write them on a post-it note and stick it to your fridge, whatever suits you, just get them right!

Thanks for the time slot Jimster, I knew you'd have the answer! I'll be watching from 9 then. I must admit that I am as excited as lf2871 at seeing DT in action. The little clip I've seen looks very funny and it will certainly give us a hint of the Christmas Invasion.

Well, I do wish it had been a bit longer, but I pretty much enjoyed it. I guess I'll have to be patient and wait until xmas to see more of DT!

He really is. He makes me laugh every time I see him I loved him in Casanova and I can already see some of those characteristics coming through in his Doctor, some of them similar to the way CE came across, which is another reason why I believe he will do a fantastic job

And if you want to get even more in the mood for The Christmas Invasion, there's a mini-episode of 'Doctor Who Confidential', filmed entirely behind the scenes on the forthcoming special, on the new Season 1 DVD box-set. Lots of nice clips of explosions and classic Jackie Tyler dialogue...
