Seeing the Pacific Glory

1 Conversation

I had just joined the Merchant Navy a Year after this Disaster, I had joined a Ben Line Ship and were going into Hamburg, when I seen this Large Burnt out Ship, Alongside, looking very out of place beside all the working ships, I asked the 3rd Mate what ship she was, he said that was the Ship that did not want to end up on the sea bed, She was the Pacific Glory. To this day I can still see this once proud ship, to me I think it new it was not at fault and that is why she did not sink, she made it to her final Port, Badly Burned, but to her still proud she had made port.
