A sneaky way of remembering smileys is to open a new window, turn to the smileys page at

and leave it sitting in the background while you surf the site, returning if you wish to find a smiley for a posting. It's effective and as long as your machine can cope, efficient.

Hi all Thanks for the welcome. For retuention of memory - or memory retention( I wonder which it is!!) try Folic Acid. Very inexpensive and I think jolly good. I do really think that it has made a tremendous difference to me. It is supposed to help both Altzheimers and senile demetia. or hopefully even help one avoid both these horrid ailments. My late husband used to say "Getting old is not for sissies" Which translated into UK English means "Getting old is not for wimps". and it is so true. One has to try and be even stronger than ususal. And that is where h2g2 is so fantastic. It gives one new friends, new interests, stimulates old interests and best of all does not differentiate between ages. Hoorah for h2g2.!!!
