Imagine a desert landscape.
Ok, martian type landscape, red sky, flat stony ground.
Imagine, within this landscape, a cube.
The cube is completely black, about 5 metres tall and completely featureless
Also in this landscape is a ladder.
Standard steel ladder, leaning against the cube, but doesn't reach up to the top.
Imagine in this landscape there is a horse.
Stood a little way off the cube, saddled, but no rider visible, looking a little lost.
Imagine a storm.
A great deal of wind and dust flying.
In this landscape, also, there are flowers.
Small yellow flowers, extremely fragile but sheltered under the lee of the cube, out of the wind.
