Further Info.

So as I said on the main page, the rough itinerary for the day is this:
Meet up in a pub, say The Old Printworks on Queen Street, the north side of George Square, between 1pm and 3pm, down a few
smiley - alesmiley - stiffdrink, whatever. Then head to LazerQuest2000 on south side of Argyll Street, opposite Marks and Spencer, for 3pm.
Stay there for an hour, playing a few games, till about 4.30pm. then head back to pub. Food (be it pub grub or something else) about 6pm, then get some serious drinking done until we get thrown out.
If anyone can come up with a bettter plan, let us know please.

Suggestions for things to do

  • Laser Quest
  • Ten Pin Bowling
  • Food of some description (Xmas?) Dinner?
  • Suggested Places to drink + eat
    • Old Printworks
    • The Counting House
    • Waxy O'Conners

All in and around the George Square area.

Information on LaserQuest2000
LaserQuest2000 is situated on the south side of Argyll Street, a mere 5 minute walk from the pub. Diagonally opposite Marks and Spencer.
LQ2K is situated on the second floor of the building. There is an Airhockey table and assorted video games too. I noticed that the floor below has many a
snooker table, so if anyone wants to play snooker whilst others run amok shooting coloured light at each other, I am sure that can be arranged.
Prices for LQ2K are as follows:
No. of GamesCost per person
1£3.00
2£5.25
2 + hotdog + coke£6.50
3 + trophy for winner£6.99
Group bookings can be made for 12 or more people

so I can get an idea of numbers.

The more who go, the better chance of getting the place to ourselves.

Would everyone want to go for the 3 game option.
