"I don't care what it says, I never laid a finger on him!"
Sorry, wrong author.
Great news about the radio series. I've never heard it before.
(Shocking confession I know)

I have it on longplaying phonograph records.
The new radio episodes will probably not be available here in Boston until they appear on CD's.

Well thanks to the joy of the BBC's Radioplayer, you'll be able to listen to the episodes over the Interweb for 7 days after the broadcast of each episode.
We'll post a link to each new episode as soon as Radioplayer has uploaded them.

Did anyone here ever get out of Arthur's bedroom in the game?

I did. I made it past the infamous babelfish problem (with help) but not much further.

I proudly made it past the bulldozer once, only to forget how the next dozen times.
Looking forward to the RP versions, it'll take me back to sitting in a sound booth listening to the first vinyl copies of the original which my audio tech friend refused to record for me.

Have you got Jeremy Clarkson's written permission to refer to "the Interweb"?

How very dare you, Plaguesville! I've been calling it the interweb for donkey's years! I shall have to have some words with Mr Clarkson.
Well, actually, can't be bothered...!

I tried to get onto it last week but couldn't. Seems everyone's hitting DNA's site to play it these days!

I too got the bablefish eventually. It was a very long time ago and I recall the necessity to stick your satchel under the vending machine and block the hole in the wall with your towel or some such madness. Makes me go all twitchy just to remember it...
Currently still trying to get out of the viridian room (see the Fiendishly Difficult Puzzle thread F19585) I hope that works...

Is anyone else aware there is a competition on the radio4/hitchhikers site to write an entry describing Earth (in 264 words) to replace 'Mostly Harmless'?
Only open to UK residents not employed by BBC but surely a few researchers could turn their hand to this.
