After searching h2g2 for Robert Downey Jr. I realised he wasn't here so I'm making my own page about him. Oh, no need to thank me, just enjoy...
The gorgeous one was born Robert John Downey, Jr. on the 4th of April 1965 (at 1:10pm if we’re gonna really dig deep) in Greenwich Village, New York.
His Sunsign is Aries and his Moonsign is Taurus.
His parents are Robert Downey, Sr. (original surname Elias) and Elsie Ford. He has one sister, Allyson, who is 18 months older than him.
He attended Santa Monica High School.
He had a seven year relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) from 1984 to 1991. He met his wife Deborah Falconer and married her on the 29th May after dating for 42 days. Their marriage lasted from 1992 to 2001.
He has a son, Indio (born on the 7th of September 1993) with Deborah.

Rob has starred in 44 films! At that’s only up to now. Hopefully there’s many more to come. His personal favourites are “Chaplin” and “Home for the Holidays”
1970
Rob stars in his first movie at age five. His father, an independent film maker, cast him as a puppy in the film “Pound”
1972
In another of his father’s movies, Rob stars in “Greaser’s Palace” and has a role in “Moment to Moment”
1973-75
The family are moving around a lot due to his father’s job. Conneticut, Woodstock, New York, London and California. Robert aged 10 attends the Perry House School in Chelsea, London and also learns a bit o’ classical ballet!
1977
After his parent’s divorce Robert stays with his mum in New York, while his sister and father move to California.
1980
Has a role in “Up The Academy”
1981
Moves with his father to Los Angeles and enrols at Lincoln Junior High School. When he reaches 10th grade he goes back to Santa Monica. Rob gets many roles in school plays and is taught how to tap dance for a role in “Oklahoma”
1982
Robert drops out of high school without graduating (with his father’s permission, naturally) and moves to live with his sister in New York. He gets a few “normal” jobs to support himself (waiter and in a shoe shop). Later an agent arranges it for him to move to LA to try for some movies. It works and he’s in “America” That’s a film not the country.
1983
He’s in “Baby It’s You” Check if you don’t believe me!
1984
Has a role in “Firstborn” During filming he meets Sarah Jessica Parker and they have pizza during a break. He moves in with her after two weeks. Doesn’t waste time, hey?
1985
Roles in “Tuff Turf” and “Weird Science”. Meets Anthony Michael Hall during “Weird Science” and they become close friends. Michael convinces Rob to try for “Saturday Night Live” He becomes a cast member and stays on for one season.
1986
“That’s Adequate” and “Back to School”
James Toback spots Rob on “SNL” and casts him in his first leading role with Dennis Hopper and Molly Ringwald in “The Pick-Up Artist”
1987
“Johnny Be Good”, “Dear America”, “Rented Lips”, “1969”
Big break! He portrays Julian Wells, a young cocaine addict in Hollywood (hmm) in “Less Than Zero” High praise from critics.
1988

“Soapdish”
Rob is picked over Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams and Billy Crystal to play the role of Charlie Chaplin in Sir Richard Attenborough’s “Chaplin”
Splits up with Sarah.

“The Last Party” and “Short Cuts” and “Luck, Trust and Ketchup”, a documentary about “Short Cuts”
Meets and marries Deborah.
1993

Rob signs to do eight more episodes of “Ally McBeal” and is offered a regular cast member spot..
Rob releases his own music for the first time. His song “Snakes” appears on the Ally McBeal soundtrack “For Once In My Life”
Also released are his versions of “Every Breath You Take” with Sting and Bob Seger’s “Chances Are” with Vonda Sheperd.
A beautiful song called “River” by Joni Mitchell is sung by Rob on “A Very Ally Christmas”
Rob is invited to lip-synch on Elton John’s new video “I Want Love” which I think he pulls off very well!
