Magick!

Here is my theory on life as relating to magic.
Basically, ritual magic is just a preparation, getting in the frame of mind for the intended result. This could be interpreted in the same way as 'manna' or 'morale'. The more manna or morale one has, the more likely the ritual is to be sucessful.
Magic is headology, headology is magic?
We use headology everyday, even on small kids. (magic cream to make them feel better if they are hurt.)
Believing something could happen as a way of making it happen could be related to bodily movement. We know all the theories behind movement, biologically, but what is it that makes it work? Christians call it a *soul*. I believe that we can move because we think we can.
A small baby cannot control itself, but as it grows older learns to by example. We know we can move our arms and legs because we know we can. therefore when we control them they move.
If we could get into the frame of mind ang gather enough 'manna' to, say, extinguish a candle flame, the next time one tried it it would be easier because of past experience and belief. Every time this was repeated it would get easier and easier and after a while it wouldbecome like moving yourself.
This could lead to the manipulation of other external factors, gathering 'manna' and experience and after a fashion extending your body.
The scientific approach is manipulation of particles and electrons. If we can do this within our bodies then why cannot do it outside of them? Using my theory we can surmise that it is our dibelief that stops us. At that point it gets a little confusing because this conotes that if we believe we can do it we can. ( a practitioner of ritual magick needs a big ego!)
All of this can relate to the Bhuddist view that the flaw is in ourselves and the things our fundamental conciousness is made of. Pre mis-conceptions about our limitations, (e.g. We can do this, we cant do that!) stop us from achieving our full potential.

P.S. If this is true then a gullible simpleton would be of the most use in magick because they are more likely to believe it would work!
