Another Flea Market Rescue,
Here is the original thread A3431170, as you can see there wasn't very much of it to begin with.

Looks like a good rescue Lanzababy. Just had a quick read for now just one item stood out.
""Cuttlefish also possess an ink sac, containing a very dark brown liquid which is used as for defence.""
A wayward 'as' in there me thinks. Or would it be better to phrase it:-
*a very dark brown liquid which is used as a defence mechanism.*

Good rescue lanzababy
Have a peek at A44196997 I'm sure it'll be OK for the BLOB code to be copied from that entry and popped onto this one...

If you do decide to use it, please credit the photographer Foxwing; the code you can copy from my camouflage entry

There was a rule at one time that pics shouldn't be applied while the entry was in PR - but that's been relaxed somewhat recently. I've spoken to the (current) Ed and he had no problem with pics in PR, so long as they're already on the system and relevant. I'd say the cuttlefish photo is,

Yay - Okay, photo inserted. Now, I don't know how to credit Foxwing though?

I've always considered pigeons to be particularly stupid, apart from the part of the brain that has a GPS receiver embedded inside.

Absolutely. It's just that the source I read quoted pigeons. I know that racing pigeons are quite clever, but they didn't specify. Mind you, we have a form of pigeon on Lanzarote called a Barbary Dove. They are quite clever - they approach anyone eating breakfast on their balconies, and look cute and coo and so on. They usually get bits of toast or croissant for their efforts.
...and thanks for reading DSG

All you had to do was copy the code on my entry, (but the credit won't appear until the entry is edited, remember)
after the tag:
Foxwing
(outside of your references tags)
and then your tag

It was an interesting read. Not sure Southernmost should be capitalised...but, if it should be, I've learned something else today.

Gnomon has just offered me a wonderful photo of a cuttlefish showing display stripes - rather than in camouflage, taken by foxwing.
I'm just making a note here in the PR thread for future reference.
Maybe it would be possible to use both?

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Feb 18, 2010
The Eds would be happy to accommodate both. They allowed me to use *all* the asterisms BLOBs on my asterism entry
