UFO

This is not going to stop. But indeed in this day and age UFO's are much more widely accepted. There is no fear of them coming to take you away if you speak of them. Or the MIB's coming round to pay you a visit. But with all the movies surrounding the subject the general public view is to take it all rather light-heartedly. Ascribed to fantasy rather than in the past spyplanes of the cold war. This also removes the motivation for people reporting sightings.Who wants to be labeled a loony or a liar? There is nothing to gain from reporting it or even talking about it but ridicule.<nahnah>
Unfortunatley there are loonies and liars on Earth.Quite a lot. There's no escaping it, they're everywhere.<wierd>
The general reaction from an average person about a UFO sighting is an automatically cynical view.Indeed this is almost pre-programmed into our minds by society. We spend most of our time in fantasy..in front of the TV, Reading, Playing games or just dreaming. This is generally when we are happy.
So an average person will ascribe a strangers story of an experience with UFO's to fantasy because this makes them happy. It is the most comfortable thing to cope with and they simplest quickest conclusion.
And it is dissapears in a puff of logic...or so it seems. The poor person who has witnessed the seemingly unexplainable occurrence is only left with questions.Trying to fit it all into they're everyday life is very hard if not impossible. <steam><wah>
The fact that peoples lives are changed after these sightings is also undeniable whether small or large.
The effects of this phenomena on everyday life can be quite dramatic. If people are watching the skys all the time then they are not convinced of the dominant power of our military and Politics on Earth.Indeed it shows them all up as very little fish.<schooloffish>
This is the threat which prevents research into the phenomena for moral and enlightening purposes.
