cool shops in bromley

If there's one thing Bromley does have it's shops, many shops and many, many shoppers. The Glades at the weekend is not a pretty sight, there are however a few highlights in the shopping experience, leaving aside the large chains:
Footpath, candle and craft- popularly known as the hippy shop, in the mall, near argos. They have silver jewellery, crystals, carved wood, clothing, lighting and of course candles and incense, everything you need to be a happy little hippy. Next door, part of the same shop, is predominantly furniture and large ornaments. Its all really quite beautiful.
jenni simmonds- Regents Arcade, in the Glades. This is a gift shop and at the moment it mostly taken up with small ornaments, but they also have some lovely jewellery, and do good quaity essential oils. Its great for browsing...
Time Trek- down the bottom of the High Street, virtually opposite the station. Rather claustraphobic and intimidating, but they do carry a huge amount of stock and will order most things in on request. Whatever your cult and sf needs, there's goodies aplenty here.
