...so who's writing up the Wiltshire entry?

I already have.

It's at U723247. ( Only just noticed this thread - although I started my own one several days ago to inform people that I'd write about Wiltshire).

Some of the info about town names given above would be better off in specific Entries about those towns IMO.

Ref the panda, the rag week had the title of 'Panda-monium', hence the icon. I agree that it's a shame it was allowed to grow over. It was very nicely constructed IMO.As far as I recall, it just appeared overnight.

Oh, and I'd also like to say that I'm kind of annoyed about it... I know you apologised but did you even *try* to look for this thread before jumping in and doing that Entry?

Well, how am I s'psed to look for a thread that I don't know even exists. (Why didn't you look for mine which existed earlier?)

Is there any way in which the work that Mr Dreadful and everyone who's been looking at this thread could be combined with the work that Big Al's completed? It'd be a terrible shame if all of the wonderful work that *anyone* had completed had to be abandoned...

Well I did actually create a thread for every single one of the UK counties - but it's nobody's fault if you didn't spot it before commencing work.

As I said above, it would be an absolutely IDEAL solution if there was some way of combining the work that everyone has done into one final article...

Anyway, Paully's idea is rather good... I'll have another look at the Entry and see if there are any holes I can fill in (like a sort of electronic Polyfilla).

. Actually, both Paully and Opti contributed to both threads but didn't tip any one off that there were two threads in existence

Tsk... can't get the staff these days...

I don't know what on *earth* I was thinking about, not being able to spot two counties that were the same out of the list of 80-odd I'm currently juggling... silly old Paully!
