A meal that can be devised from anything.
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
This is when you have eaten your way through most of this weeks greoceries, and are left with a tin of peeled plumb tomatoes, a bag of frozen peas and a brown banna lurking at the bottom of the fruit bowl. (Why is it that for some reason *everyone* has peeled plumb tomatoes, but no one actually knows what to do with them?)
To sucessfully create a meal from nothing, one must do as follows...
1.Put a pan on the hob.
2.Add the discareded banna, peeled plumb tomatoes and peas.
3.Add one tsp of anything else lying around at the back of the fridge.
4.Simmer untill spouse returns home, or untill smell has effectivly filled the house.
5.Get dressed for dinner, as spouse has 'suggested' that you should eat out for a change, while trying to make it not so obvious that he/she is trying to hold their nose and keep from renching at the same time.
Result- One lavish meal and you dont even have to do the washing up.
