Tuscaloosa is a medium-sized city in west-central Alabama. Located along with its sister city, Northport, on the Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa County, Tuscaloosa is one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the state.
A large part of Tuscaloosa's (or as the locals call it, T-Town) diversity is due to the University of Alabama having its main campus there. The University and its students provide Tuscaloosa with a large amount of revenue as well as a large labor force.

There are several ways to get to Tuscaloosa. Here are directions to T-Town from some surrounding cities:
From Columbus, MS: Get on US Highway 82 eastbound and follow it for approximately sixty miles. This should take about ninety minutes to traverse. When you cross the Black Warrior River, you'll be in Tuscaloosa.
