This is a short piece about the everyday oddities on the Riviera that the average tourist might (sometimes fortunately!) miss.

Hey Lissu, I just stumbled across your entry and have a few comments. Firstly, I want to say that the entry is very funny and I appreciate this as someone who spent more than a few years messing around in the PACA region of France. The only thing is that the entry is a little too flippant and relies heavily on stereotype. Edited entries are based on fact, while being humourous - an example of this kind of entry is the Edited Guide entry on 'The USA and its Inhabitants' which can be found here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A260461 with feedback here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F32933?thread=115175 I'd love to see an entry on this topic in the Guide, but I feel that this needs a little more work - funny though it is. Thanks so much for the input, Ashley - in spite of reading the guidelines, I was a little unsure of what was expected as a first-time submitter - I can certainly add some more fact and a little less stereotypical fiction to the piece (although everything I said about drivers and poodles is true - I swear!)

Oh, and I can spell "Idiosyncracies" correctly on occasion too!
