Character Description:
Lookouts:
Size: 6 feet and a half (1.95 metres)
Weight: about 85 kilograms (13 stone)
Armour: chainmail with metal scales, big piece of armour around his neck and shoulders to protect his gills, katana on the hip. The shield, which is painted blue with a well-drawn fish and pirate sign onto it, is just decoration and can´t be used except for impressing people and making other pirates happy.
He´s amphibious, humanoid in general , but covered with scales all over and very short legs for human purposes. Don´t tell anyone, but he also has a backfin. He´s some kind of light green that always looks wet.
History:
Born with holy ancestors descended from the deep seas that brought belief to the fish peoples, he learned the true powers of water magic soon, while his parents, grandparents and other local saints made him adept at the powers of Chi and nobility. He soon became adept in fighting skills and divine powers.
After his shaasash garch shhium, or coming-of-agem, he swam up to the surface and breathed airborne oxygen for the first time in his life. He soon found a ship, at which he made an oath that he would serve the crew for three years to learn surface technique.
Unfortunately, it was a pirate ship. Any way, he soon found out that they were noble guys, and he soon learned to rob the ships of the evil. Aboard the ship, he also learned several languages, to behave like a noble man (this time like a noble human, as noble fish use to splash water on honored guests) and to wield weapons like the katana he looted from an armory ship. One day, as he was just finishing his diving exercises, he found an underwater cave and explored it. He found that it was a fallen temple dedicated to the gods of sea. What impressed him most was a little idol standind on a ceremonial table, and as soon as he touched it, he suddenlky knew the duty that was saved in his blood (or blood-like liquid stuff replacing blood) through his veins: finding this and twelve similar idols in order to win a bet an ancestor of his had made during the early days of the world.
And here he is: Edddie, the amphibious warrior, looking for friends, quests and twelve idols in the hard, waterless world of the continent.
