Red Currant lemonade.

My grandma's recipe

5 liter of red currants
1,5 liter of water.

Wash the berries, you do not need to remove the stems. If you have a steamer you use that, if not:
Boil up the berries with the water untill you see that the berries collapses and gives up the juice.
Drain through a cloth, preferably until the next day.

Measure up how much juice you've got.
Put to boil.
Add 400 - 500 grams of sugar per litre red currant juice.
(We want this as strong as we can get it. Remember you are to dillute it with water before serving.)

Pour the boiling lemonade into clean, heated bottles. Seal them at once.
Store in a dark and cool place.
