Ant, The Common -
The common ant, also known as the common ant, is commonly found lurking around neglected office buildings. While a usually docile animal, the common ant has an annoying tendency to commit suicide within kettles of boiling water, therby forcing office inhabitants to wash all the freshly drowned ants out of the kettle each and every morning, something that can become a strain on anybody's nerves, with time.
Despite their high nutritional value, the common ants are NOT recommended as an additive to coffee or tea (see also "Sugar", "Milk", "Cancer Inducing Chemicals" and "Other Things To Put in Coffee or Tea") as they tend to add a dubious edge to those drinks, and, when in heavy concentration, render the drinking proccess somewhat unpleasant.
Aside from that it should be noted that the common ant may also be found (in its dead or alive form) within bags of cat food strain around offices, where it happily resides, playing Kanasta, strip poker, hide and seek and various other popular ant games all day long.
Finally, the common ant does not usually pose mortal danger to human beings, and tends to be unhostile unless provoked. If and when it lunges for your neck, though (and such instances have not been unheard of), you're a goner.
