Lincoln, London and Thats Life

I live in Lincoln. Lincoln is just like London, just a lot smaller. we have a bloody big church on a hill. London has several big chuches. Also we have cool clubs and pubs and a load of really hip people.
Originally I come from Manchester. Manchester is a sort of half way house between Lincoln and London, bigger than the former but smaller than the latter. Manchester is getting to be annoyingly like London in many respects.
London is a truely huge and awe inspiring place.. It can be very disorientating for the novice.. Taken as lots of small places joined together, a bit like lumpy custard is the only way it fits comfortably in the mind.
Thats Life was a dreadful 1980's BBc show anchored by Ester Rantzen.
