The old episodes are still classics though.

Maybe. Or is something like MASH longer running?
Certainly longest running anime.
If you watch some old episode, as you can on certain websites, the change is remarkable. At its best it was genuinely one of the wittiest and well written things on TV. Hopefully the new episodes of Futurama will be good.

Futurama is alright. I wouldn't say it's laugh out loud funny. It has it's moments.

Really good. Unfortunately it was cancelled just as it was finding it feet. It was a more grown up version of the Simpsons and at times was funnier, its real strength though was its story telling which was excellent. Some episodes were really quite emotional.
