Ooh, I like
One small typo, 3rd last paragraph. 'This insures the neutrality...'. Should maybe be ensures.
And a more general point; what is the W3C's relationship to the other standards bodies? (particularly the IETF and ISO) Do they act as an unbrella organisation, or do they just try not to tread on each other's toes too much?
