Morning

0 Conversations

The day starts too early.

There's no part of the day more worthless than morning. That's the real morning, mind you, that time of the day between when you crawl out of bed and when you actually wake up. Pedants will inform you that there's another part of morning, that time between midnight and when you actually go to bed, but this can't really be morning because a) you're actually still awake and b) you can actually get useful things done.

Many people who have things they're meant to be doing during the morning load up on coffee in a hopeless attempt to be alert enough to get something meaningful accomplished. There are others, though, who have a somewhat more realistic outlook on the day, and thus go straight for the beer instead.

On the whole, it seems more likely we'd get a lot more done if we gave up and started the day at noon.
