well i have a theory about xander.......and it isn't bunnies!








my theory is that the reason he never does anything cool is because joss ans said that xander is the character most like him in BtVS. therefore if joss now has xander save to world (ok, so he did ACTUALLY do it just now but i mean like superpowers of something)then it would basically be a joss whedon ego trip. so no fun for xander then

What I came to say was that Xander is a sorted guy, I trust him, give me a choice to have anyone of them next to me and it would be a flip between Xander and Anya.

Otherwise it would be Cordy, she'd know who to call and what to do in the meantime

I have had a great new idea for a slash fic. i wont ever write it but it's cool anyway to be creative!

actually i have had several new ideas, but only one of them involves xander and spike. as usual mist of them are about the sentinal, a show more made ofr slash fic than even smallville!

Wes belongs to Gunn if Gunn getsa a personallity transplant. Have you read Smallfry and Son of Smallfry? I *think* they are by Walkswithwind or possibly the Madpoetess. You can get them on CKoS or Spike and Xanders World of Fun. Totally brilliant fics, the wes and gunn bit is only really in the second one, but you need toread the first one to understand it.

You're telling me those are great! I just read a crossover where Spike/Xander/Peter Parker were together. Totally awesome! Hey if you guys want to check out some Buffy fanfic that you might not have seen check me out at Fanfiction.net Goddess Heather. Okay away from that (sorry so didn't mean to turn that into a self plug) I think Joss had Xander save the world because of this Pit of Doom Xander's been in. He's been seriously low in self esteem department, but recently he's been filled with self loathing. I think this was building before the wedding (kinda cause he doesn't get married...) but the alter fleage compounded it. Joss had to do soemthing major to help pull him out of that black hole of self pity. Kinda on topic about Xander is Anya...I totally saw sparks between her and Giles!

can you give me a clue where to find the cross over? sounds cool. i;ll try and find your page too

at the moment i'm reading one of those x files epics where mulder sells himself into slavery and ends up being skinners bum boy. ever noticed how common that theme is in fan fic? i'll be back to buffy soo though.


i think you're right about the whole xander self esteme issue. saving the world hopefully will help him get his head in gear again........and not have another stupid hair cut.

Mulder into slavery, where does Krychek fit in

I'll go searching, I just don't remeber where I read it off the top of my head. That's one thing I've never been able to see though, Mulder slash, het, anything. He's so screwed up in the head I can't imagine him with anyone from the show, crossover maybe, but not Scully or Skinner, certainly not Krycek. Although there has been lots of subtext there. All of James' stuff is great. Sands of Time is what convertedme over in the first place! Have you seen the sequels, Matter of Confrontation? There's a couple more. Anything on Kay's site is worth reading at least 3 times. Still waiting for the sequel to Not Just Another Human.

yes yes yes, totally read and loved all of those! i think not just another human was the one taht started off as being called xander in LA.. it's the one with all those odd monks isnt it?

matter of control, matter of confrontaion, matter of claiming....is that all of them? i never managed to find the authors own site though, i always seem to pick them up of other places which then get shut down or the links break.

the mulder thing squicked me to start with, i prefer krychek/skinner to be honest. but i've found a few (about 10 perhaps) really good stories. but tehre arent many out there. 24/7 and Chains are both about Mulder accidently selling himslef to skinner as a slave and are both very long, clever and funny.

my favourite fandom i think will always be the sentinal. i cant help it, i'm totally gaga over jim and blair. i can see why the show was cancelled because it just wouldnt work without the two of them together, the while premise is geared up towards them falling in love. i think one of the reasons i like it so much is that i never saw the show so i can fill in my own blanks.

there's a spike/xander story which is called something like 'mum i'm not gay' where xanders mum gets convinced he's gay and tries to set him up with spike. brilliant.

i read a really cool man from uncle slash fanfic the other day.

its on the CKoS site and is called 'the man from yesterday'. poor old illya and napoleon wake up in the year 2001. and have to cope with the fact that not only is THRUSH gone, but so is the USSR.

they are unimpressed with the clothes too.


very funny fanfic, and very cleverly thought out too


but it still cant beat xander/spike. i cant believe how easy they are to slash.

mind you i was reading 'prime evil' toady which is an actual authorised buffy book. and as i was reading i was half asleep and xander and angel were having one of their major arguments. and i was really suprised nothing happened. until i remembered it was the official versions. but it was SO close to the slash fics.....wouldnt it just be sooooooo great if joss whedon got a it carried away in the final series of buffy, and let the characters do what they REALY want to. he he he he he he he he he he he

Hmmm well I have never got in to any fanfic so thought it was about time I checked some out. I was impressed with how well Xander and Spike go together, dunno why I didn't see it before

Got some more S6 at the weekend so one of those Buffy overload situations and I am still confused by it . Reckon everyone self esteem is gurgling down the pan in this one

Dawn is by far and away the most sorted other than Tara. Reckon the slayer should stop carrying the wieght of the world on her shoulders and indeed start handing over some of that responsibly to the world. Buffy is a strong woman who can hold her own in many respects, she is still not liberated tho or able to 'break free' I'd like to see that her do that in her lifetime. Mmm that was a musing for today

hi peanut. i've not been online much for a while...very observant of you.

first we had inspection at work and then they changed the computers to netscape 4.7 which really didnt lie running h2g2 then i moved to uni.

i still cant spend much time on line but i should be able to a bit later in ther term.
