Revision - How Best To Avoid It
We have all had exams to take once in a while, the worst possible type of course (apart from the inquisition from girlfriends parents after meeting them for the first time) would have to be university exams. Nothing can possibly compare with sitting in a lecture hall with hundreds of other students and realising your mind has turned to gravy.
The best way to avoid this is by extensive revision and tutorials with the tutors in question (as long as it is not 9 in the morning - we don't want to push it now do we).
When revising do not:
Make more than one revision plan all coloured in in pretty patterns.
Revise in your student house when a newly married couple have just moved in next door.
Revise in the bar.
Have a fully structured plan of action but forget that you have to sleep at some point as well.
Pretend to be ill to create some sympathy among examiners.
Watch just one more episode of "The Simpsons".
Keep cooking meals even though you are not hungry.
Add entries to H2G2 when your exam is a mere 22 hours away.
