Farewell Douglas, we miss you already.

I'd like to use this space to pay my own respects to the man who this guide from his own fantastic fiction to the reality you see before you.
Douglas Adams was a great author, a great visionary, a great environmentalist and a great example for us all. He always seemed to me to be caring for the present, through his links with various conservation charities, as well as preparing us for the future in his own way.
On a personal level his works of fiction, and non fiction, took me to numerous fantastic places I could have never dreamed to visit without him and my outlook on the Universe was definately changed for the better through what Douglas Adams wrote.
I will miss him greatly and remember him through his work for a long time to come.

I hope other guide readers and contributers can use the disusion threads under this piece to express their own feelings about the loss of such a great man.
