Douglas Adams, the author of the may vertions of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, as well as the creator of this site, died yesterday, 11th May 2001, from a heart attack in Santa Barbara, California.

This is so sad, especailly as we were looking forward to his new creation, the HHGTTG film. Everyone who knew him or read any of his books will miss him greatly.

So long Douglas, and thanks.
