The Strokes are a wonderful new band from NYC. At present they only have a 7" single or a CD single available in the UK.
The single contains the tracks - 'The Modern Age', 'Last Nite' and the CD has an extra track called 'Barely Legal'. The single is avaialble through the Rough Trade Singles Club.
The Strokes sound like The Stooges / MC5 and f*****g rock.
The Strokes will be touring the UK and Ireland in June.
