'lo folks,

Are University projects still active? I have a bunch of Entries all-but-ready that would fit together to make a good Uni project, but not sure whether recent changes to the site might mean I'm better putting them all into PR separately?

Gif! Huge apologies for the terrible delay in getting back to you We would definitely be interested in seeing these Entries. We can put them together as a Uni project for sure. The only thing that's really changed is since we cut back - for the time being - to publishing 3 new Entries a week, when we feature a Uni project, it shares the limelight with that week's other two new Entries. Basically, it doesn't dominate the Front Page like projects used to but all the Entries will be categorised, linked together and promoted around the site (and the wider BBC if possible) plus facebook, twitter etc.

btw, are there any plans to switch back to daily Front Page updates?

Hi Gif, the plan is that when we eventually go live with the new redesign we'll gradually see if we can increase the output, starting with publishing one new Entry per day. Obviously we'll have to see how things pan out but that's the plan anyway.
