Did you know that you can buy an extremely accurate KITT replica today, from [URL removed by moderator]
It is of course based on a standard 80s Trans Am and can't actually drive itself, but the quality of the finished product is pretty amazing...
There's also an article on that site which covers the restoration of one of the original cars from the show, which makes for interesting reading...
