A Short Guide to Short Words

2 Conversations

I wanted to write a piece about the words we can no longer use, and put it up for peer review. But it will all be asterisked out. So for the first draft - I have dumped in in Geocities. Here it is:

It has all the signs of being written at 3.00 am (guess what - it was) and I need to check the references. The Henry Miller / Marlene Deitrich one in particular is probably wrong. I think it is quoted in "The Moon's a Baloon" though. And I cannot remember the Robert Browning, or (which is more annoying) where I saw it quoted.

Please check it out and mail me [email protected] with comments.
