Theobald Boehm and His Wonderful System (Under Construction)

0 Conversations

Theobald Bohem was born in Munich in 1793/1794 and died in 1881. He was a flautist and composer (particularly memorable are his fiendishly difficult studies, which still haunt my dreams), but he is mainly remembered as the inventor of the Boehm system on the flute and clarinet.
