Ed, Edd n Eddy is a cartoon, produced by Cartoon Network. It is basically about three kids: Ed, Edd and Eddy, whose sole goal in life is to make money to buy Jawbreakers.

Ed is one of the three stars. Ed is recognisable by these features: he has one long eyebrow, his eyes are widely spaced, when running, he bends over backwards considerably, he wears a long green coat/shirt, trousers, and a scarf of some description. Ed is not the brightest child in the world. He has very simplistic speech patterns, loves television, and when Eddy's scams go wrong, it often has something to do with Ed. Ed has also had an imaginary friend, been the motor for a pleasure boat/inflated tyre cruise, gone sleepwalking and eaten the entire neighbourhood's food, and been in a backyard wrestling match. His hobbies are TV, food, and 'helping' Eddy with his scams. He is also Sarah's brother.¹

Edd is everything Ed is not. He is articulate, has a perfect posture and studies a lot. He is very fond of botany and the study of small animals. His prized possesions are his magnifying glass and his cactus, Jim. Edd is also somewhat minute: he always makes his bed perfectly, has an intruder alarm in his bedroom, and everything he owns is labeled. No, not labeled 'Edd' but labeled things like 'Slipper', 'Globe', 'Jim' and so on. Edd also has a high IQ, and it is he who is mainly responsible for making Eddy's ideas into workable scams - that is, until Ed messes them up. Whenever anyone comes into Edd's room, they must remove their shoes and wear special bunny slippers. Edd typically wears red t-shirts, shorts, and trainers. We also know that he sleeps in bunny pyjamas.

Eddy is the brains of the three. Supposedly. He is always inventing scams and swindles to take the money of the children in the neighbourhood so he can buy Jawbreakers. He is so scam-driven that when there was a neighbourhood flu epidemic and nobody was allowed out, thus leaving him without any kids to scam, he went temporarily mad. He is also filled with a constant desire to shake off his 'dork' label and be cool - sadly, he and the other Eds are always at least one, if not two or three fads behind. His scams have included: A pleasure cruise company, farmyard animal cleaning, a grocery shop, a lemonade operation, 'Clothes by Eddy', a detective agency, and many more. They all have one thing in common: they are all brutally dishonest. Eddy is short, scheming, and never passes up the opportunity to make money.
