My Adventure with Pokemon Episode 4

Ok here's episode 4 (is anyone actually reading this, i hope so)
It took skamory about ten minutes to fly me and charmeleon over the sea to cianwood city (hitmontop was back in his pokeball, charmeleon still refused to go in one). When we got there i returned skamory to her pokeball and went to the pokemon center. The cianwood pokemon center was exactly the same as the one in olivine, i went over to one of the PCs on the wall and called the olivine pokemon center, nurse joy's face appeared on the screen "is jasmine there?" i asked "i have her skarmory",
"she's right here, i'll just go get her" nurse joy disappeared from the screen, i look over my shoulder at the nurse joy here, every pokemon center has a nurse and they're all related, and all called joy. Also, they all look identical, wierd...
jasmine's face appeared on the screen,
"hey alex! you have a nice flight?",
"great thanks, i'm sending skarmory back now" between the small keyboard and monitor, there was a small, round plate with three small metal spikes arranged like a pedestal. I place skarmory's pokeball on it and hit the "send" button. The spikes glow and a miniature lightning bolt comes out of each, encasing the pokeball. When the light dies down, the pokeball is gone. Jasmine holds up the pokeball,
"thanks alex",
"and thank you, well i'd better get training for my battle with chuck, bye", (chuck is the cianwood gym leader)
"see ya, alex" said jasmine, and hit a button, closing the link.
Outside, i said to charmeleon, "you may have to battle this time, jasmine let us off with one on one because we're friends but i think chuck will battle us with two pokemon", charmeleon looked up and nodded at me. A few minutes later charmeleon and i realised we were lost, i was about to reach into my bag for the pokegear when i noticed something.
Standing in the water, about 5 meters from the beach (evedently the water wasn't as deep as it looked) stood a pokemon, it was the size and shape of a lion, its body was sky blue except for a purple cape and two white tails that started at its shoulders, it had a large, diamond-like crown. It was beautiful, even though there was no wind its cape blew and waved majestically. Suddenly i realised i'd been staring at it for a long time, i looked down at charmeleon, he was doing the same. Suddenly a gloved hand covered my mouth and someone pulled me back, i was about to struggle when a voice in my ear said,
"Don't...move...a muscle. You are looking at a legendary pokemon that could run over to olivine in a heartbeat at the slightest noise", i found this hard to beleive,
"what, across the sea?" i whispered, pulling the hand away from my mouth,
"yes, across the sea!" he whispered back, i now realised he was a man (about 20 years old) dressed in a blue suit with white gloves and a white cape. "now don't move, and don't make a sound!" he turned to a raichu satanding next to him. Raichu was 2 feet tall and looked like a mouse, it was orange with a white belly, its most impressive feature was a long black tail, ending in a large lightning bolt shape. "Raichu, use thunder on the water" raichu stuck its tail in the water and a second later the water surrounding the legendary pokemon came alive with electricity, it cried in pain for a second, then turned around and shot a rainbow coloured beam from its mouth at raichu, knocking it out it one hit.
"i guess that makes it my turn" i said. I reached into my pocket and got hitmontop's pokeball. I let hitmontop out and said, "see that pokemon hitmontop? use mach punch!". Hitmontop shot at the pokemon, but sank in the water. Then, in a flash, the pokemon shot out the sea, running on the waves like the man had said.
"There! I told you! I say 'stand back and dont make a sound' and you say 'use mach punch'!", the man was clearly upset,
"well, you weren't too subtle yourself mr 'use thunder raichu'!",
"alright, look, im sorry, i'm behaving childishly" he held out his hand "the name's eusine, i hope you'll forgive my somewhat hostile greeting, you just never know when you'll next see a pokemon like suicune" i shook his hand,
"suicune? i think i've heard that name before, it's one of the legendary dogs right? there's a memorial for them back at ecruteak, apparently it, entei and raikou died centuries ago"
"yes, that is popular belief, the three dogs perished when the brass tower of ecruteak burned to the ground with them inside, becoming the 'burned tower' you know today, however another of ecruteak's famous legendary pokemon is the pokemon ho-oh, do you know of it?", i thought for a moment,
"oh yeah! there's a statue of it in the ruins of the burned tower, big, dragon-like bird yes?"
"that's right, ho-oh escaped the tower as it burned, but recently, ho-oh was said to return to the tower and restore the three legendary dogs",
"what, so you're telling me that all these myths and legends of ecruteak, they're all real?"
"yes, that would seem to be the case, i'm something of an expert when it comes to the pokemon suicune, so naturally when i heard that it was alive again i rushed to ecruteak and followed it here"
"how did you know it would be here?"
"with this" he produced a small square device with a map of johto on the screen, it was covered in tiny arrows "it's a moniter of the wind patterns in johto, wherever suicune stops there is a sudden, northern wind, of course it's only slight and sometimes northern winds blow without suicune's presense so it's quite hard to track",
"and you're trying to capture it?" i asked, remembering his attack "is that even possibble?",
"well, legendary dogs are incredebly fast and run at the slightest disturbance, so it's difficult but yes, theoretically it is possible. I just need to keep launching attacks on it whenever i see it and eventually it will me weak enough to capture", i looked out to sea and thought about how suicune had sped across the waves,
"and it can run on water..."
"yes, incredible isn't it? And that's not all. Any water suicune touches is instantly purified. Now if you'll permit me to change the subject, do you have a pokegear or a pokenav?"
"yeah" i say, retrieving my pokegear,
"give it here" he said taking it, he started pressing buttons "if you ever see suicune again, you call me, ok?" he handed the pokegear back to me, on the phone menu, eusine's name and number had been entered. Eusine produced a pokeball and sent out a short, fat yellow pokemon with a small trunk for a nose and a tired expression,
"drowzee, teleport us to..." eusine checked his small wind devise "the lake of rage!", eusine, drowzee and raichu dissapeared, it occured to me that that was the second time someone had made an exit like that to me.
Later that day, we arrived at the cianwood city gym, the reception area there was similar to the one in olivine. I went up to the counter and said to the receptionist,
"hi, im here to challenge the gym leader" he nodded and said,
"go right in". I went into the gym, the olivine gym had been rocky but this gym had a wooden floor with a battle field shaped like a football pitch painted on the floor. At the other end, a muscular man about 30 years old stood, he said,
"you must be a new challenger", i nodded, he said "i'm chuck. i hope you'll forgive me for not giving an introduction but i let my fists do the talking! Two pokemon okay?"
"okay!" i said, and then to myself "sounded like an introduction to me".
Chuck produced his first pokeball and opened it.
The pokemon he sent out was mostly a huge ball of fur, but with arms ang legs like tree trunks and a pig's snout and ears, it was a Primape. Charmeleon has standing next to me,
"You can go first charmeleon", he nodded and ran into the battlefield.
"ok, let's get started with dynamic punch!" said chuck, primape leapt forward, its fist glowing,
"jump back, charmeleon!" charmeleon dodged just before primapes punch crashed into the ground "now use scratch" primape howled in pain as charmeleon slashed at its hand,
"come on primape! Don't take that, use thrash!", shouted Chuck. Primape flew at charmeleon with a flurry of punches and kicks, charmeleon managed to dodge for a second or two, but then was sent flying by primape's attack. Primape continued to thrash around,
"Charmeleon, intersept with an upwards metal claw!", charmeleon ran forwards and rammed his claws into primape's foot as it came swinging towards him, again primape howled in pain, clutching its foot. "Now use scratch AND metal claw" charmeleon crossed his hands over and slashed primape in two different directions, "you're doing great charmeleon!",
"COME ON PRIMAPE!" roared Chuck "you can take him out with one dynamic punch!", Primape stood up and its fist started glowing, it thought for a minute and then punched its own stomache! There was a large explosion from the dynamic punch, once the smoke cleared, primape was unconsious. Chuck sighed as he withdrew primape to its pokeball, "of course i knew thrash can confuse a user into attacking itself" he said "i've never seen primape knock himself out with it though" he laughed. "Well it looks as if you're off to a good start kid, but like all gym leaders" he paused for dramatic effect, then held up a second pokeball "i've saved my best for last!".
Chuck's second pokemon was six feet tall and was navy blue except for a large white circle for a stomache with a black spiral on it, and white, boxing glove-like hands.
"This is my Poliwrath!" said chuck "i tell you, it was embarrasing raising a water type in a fighting gym, but when she evolved from poliwhirl she became the most powerful fighting type on the island!" (Poliwrath are both fighting and water types).
"you gonna be okay Charmeleon?" i asked, as a fire type, Charmeleon was at a disadvantage but he didn't look like he was backing down.
"Alright Poliwrath, let's start with water pulse!" Poliwrath made a punching motion and a large ball of water came flying down the gym,
"jump over it!" i shouted, but it was too big, Charmeleon was engulfed by water. He fell to the ground, beaten. I ran forward and picked Charmeleon up and brought him back to trainers part of the gym,
"alright, go Hitmontop!" i said, throwing his pokeball. Hitmontop emerged, looking confident,
"ahh, a fighting type!" laughed chuck "i have to say i've never thought much off the tyrouge evolution line, all dancing around without much muscle power! But i guess it's up to you to prove me wrong!" he laughed again. "Poliwrath, water pulse again!" Poliwrath sent a second ball of water.
"Mach punch, fast as you can!" I said, Hitmontop flew through the water and hit Poliwrath hard,
"now use submission!" roared Chuck, Poliwrath grapped Hitmontop and leapt into the air,
"rapid spin!" Hitmontop spun out of Poliwrath's grip just before she came crashing to the ground, Hitmontop landed, still spinning, on Poliwrath's back, "now use brick break!". Again Hitmontop hit Poliwrath and jumped back to our side of the gym,
"ok, water pulse, once more!" shouted Chuck, as the ball of water flew forwards i shout,
"mach punch!" but once Hitmontop charged through the ball of water Poliwrath grabbed him and pinned him on the floor,
"now use dynamic punch!" said Chuck, with her other hand, Poliwrath delivered a devestating punch, filling the gym with smoke.
When the smoke cleared, Hitmontop was lying still,
"that was a good fight" said Chuck, as I returned Hitmontop to his pokeball "especially when you consider your inexperience", I looked up,
"how do you know i'm inexperienced?", Chuck laughed,
"Jasmine called me, just before you got here. She told me about your Charmeleon",
"oh, right" i said "i guess without the prize money i'll just have to send Charmeleon to Hoenn without me",
"I wouldn't be so sure" said Chuck "give me your trainer card", i rumaged through my pockets and produced the card, Chuck took it to the reception area and said something to the receptionist "now, while i'm only authorised to give a gym badge to trainers who are able to beat me" he held out my card, I took it "I guess since it's for a good cause... the prize money's yours"
