This is quite possibly the funniest man alive...
Okay, you probably want a little more detail than that: Eddie Izzard is a transvestite stand-up comedian who has an amazing and truly original surreal comic talent.
His shows include "Unrepeatable", "Definite Article", "Glorious" and "Dress-to-kill". He is multi-lingual and has performed his shows live in France, Belgium and Iceland.
His material takes in everything from the Moses (played by Sean Connery...naturally!) and the Bible's creation story (with James Mason as God...again...) to the need to sacrifice a sock and a couple of pairs of pants to the god of the launderette and the fact that cats' alleged purring is actually them drilling behind the sofa...so now you know.
This man is truly inexplicable so to sum up...as he himself so often says:
"so...yeah"
