Below are lists of various websites dealing with the world of Formula One. Hopefuly they will provide what you are looking for.

News Sites:

  • www.F1-Live.com is a well organized news site for Formula One that is updated not just daily but whenever news breaks. Also included on this site are track maps, basic driver biographies, testing coverage, photograph galleries, and comprehensive results from 1998 to the present. This site also offers a well run live timing and scoring system for every race weekend including practice, qualifying, and race. This allows web surfers to follow the running order updated regularly and read live comentary on the race. A five star site.
  • www.F1I.com is another news site that is updated with great regularity for the Formula One Fan. The major section this site has over most new sites is the fact that it contains the complete finishing order for every race from 1950 to the present, including each drivers starting positions. As any other news site it offers track maps, driver and team biographies and the like. A great source for day to day Formula One information.
  • www.Formula1.com is the unofficial site for Formula 1. It is updateded often and also inlcudes live timing and scoring for its viewers. Another plus to this website is the inclusion of a video archive, though not fully kept up to date it is still well done. This site also inludes a fantasty league and several other fun little things to pass the time. All in all a good resource.
  • www.DailyF1.com is another daily updated site that is a good source for news, photographs, and comentary. This site is available in six languages and also includes live commentary, no timing, for all sessions during the race weekend. A huge plus for this site are the cartoons by Carlos Carneiro found in thier fun and games section. They are absolutely amazing and quite funny.
  • www.GrandPrix.com is updated daily with news from all over Formula One but the big plus that this site has is the amount of in house analysis and commentary. They even find time and a way to focus on the behind the scenes action of race engineers and the like.
  • www.PlanetF1.com offers many things your typical site doesn't offer. I reccomend reading their Alternative Championship, it is hillarious. The news is always fresh and up to date and it is even said the people like Dan Gurney use this site as their source for Formula One. So get on over, customize the page to your favorite teams colors and start reading up.

  • www.Sauber.ch is the homepage for the Swiss based Sauber team. A very well done website coving both the sport and personal side of the team. Be sure to check out the car history section covering every Sauber made racecar and it inlcudes graphic morphs contrasting different designs, a great treat.
  • www.Jaguar-Racing.com is the site of the Ford backed Jaguar Formula One team. Membership is required on this site for most things but the membership (the basic one anyways) is free so go join up now, what are you waiting for?
  • www.Minardi.it/ is the homepage for the smallest team, Minardi. Recently taken over and revitalized their site reflects this and is still growing. Be sure to check in on this team that runs on all heart.
  • Statistics

  • www.Waltonhome.FSWorld.co.uk/F1/ is the site I used to get the finishing order for the points positions for every race since 1950. This collection of data is maintained privately by Steve Walton on his home page, www.Waltonhome.FSWorld.co.uk/. Steve himself is also a great guy and I thank him for such a wonderful site to use. Be sure to visit him and say hello for this project owes alot to his site.
  • www.Forix.com is a comprehensive site for every statistic for Formula One you could dream of. Agreat resource for who has done what where and when. Definetly worth checking out to see where drivers stand when compared to eachother.
