I thought I'd tell you about the weather here, so you know what to pack. It was very hot at the beginning of the week (getting up to 35C at some points!). But the last couple of days have been cooler (yay!) and overcast and it is rainy today.

The outlook for next week is more of the same - mixed. Monday is supposed to be hot and sunny (28C). Tuesday is supposed to be wet (27C).


So....bring some summer clothes, and a jumper or something in case it gets chilly, and a waterproof jacket or an umbrella. That should cover it

The only thing I can pretty much guarantee is that it won't snow while you're here

No, air conditioning isn't something we need most of the time

Office buildings and some shops are usually air conditioned. Very few homes are. Ours isn't. But we've got a fan...

Well, 28C isn't too hot, but an AC is a must here. I have one.

That's why we don't have them. We'd use them about 3 times a year!

No, I think we're cool. At some point soon I will email you my mobile number in case we miss each other at the airport. We can sort you out with money and the like there, or on Monday, that shouldn't be a problem. There are phones at the airport, and they should take credit cards, so phoneing home when you land shouldn't be a problem either.


And as for what I think. If the relationship was over, it was better that he left so that you can both move on. Will that do you?
