Well, I've finally found the PERFECT place. My desk has always been TOTALLY messy, and I'm proud of it. Remember, if you've got time to tidy your desk, you obviously don't have enough work to do!!!

Anything interesting on there? Maybe we should start a thread entitled "the most interesting thing I found when moving piles of mess".
I hoovered behind the sofa a few weeks ago (this is not something that happens very often, as you are about to find out). I found 2 marshmallows and some little chocolates left over from New Year, and a new toothbrush, still in its plastic packaging..............weird.

My SAT test score laid patiently under all the piles on my desk, just waiting to be found. Now it's on the bed... Wonder where it'll end up next time.

I'm patiently waiting to find the pile of mess under which my 3 embroidery hoops are lurking - the original one and the two I bought to replace it when I realised I couldn't find it.....

Hello! What time is in Kibbutz land? It's 11am here. Time for a tea break
Want one?
(Mine are mugs. They actually serve tea!)

Hi-
Is Gatewith<?> the small airport you told me about? I don't seem to remember.

Gatwick. No, it's a large one. There are two large airports in London itself, on different sides of the city. Heathrow is the largest, but Gatwick is also pretty big.
The smaller one is outside of London, and it called London Luton airport, although strictly its not in London at all. There's also a very small one called Stansted, but I don't think they fly any long haul flights from there.
It might sound silly, but if you're having trouble finding flights, then Birmingham International airport isn't too far from us either!

No- I got the flight, and it's landing in Gatwick
But- it'll land on the night between Sunday and Monday, which isn't so good, since you have to work on Monday, right?

Yes, probably I will be working, but that's not too much of a problem. My boss is used to me falling asleep at work, and I can start later than normal if I need some extra sleep. It's fairly flexible here.

I had trouble replying to this yesterday - I guess the site was really busy.
Don't worry about the plane times. There's no way I would let a lone female friend from another country wander about London on their own at night
