My Adventure with Pokemon Episode 3

Before i start this one it's come to my attention that alot of none-poke fans are confused as to the identity of the pokemon in the earlier episodes, so let me explain,
Tyrogue - a foot tall, humanoid (two arms, two legs), a sort of purpley grey colour and has a bandage-like pattern on his hands and stomache (tyrogue and his evolved forms are always male)
Hitmontop - about 3, 4 feet tall has a brown head with flap like ears and a point on top which it spins on, he has a blue body and brown limbs and tail, he has the same bandage like pattern on his ankles and wrist. He has 3 claws on each of his feet (one on the back) and a similar one on the end of his tail.
Beedrill - as the name would suggest it is a bee-like pokemon, a foot long, mostly yellow with two black stripes on its abdomen with a yellow stinger. It has two black legs, arms and antenna, its arms also end in stingers. It has two large wings and red, fly-like eyes.
Scyther - a tall humanoid pokemon, it's light green, it has sword like forearms (not wings, like i said, sorry) and also wings. But scyther rarely use their wings for flying, instead fan themselves with them.
Miltank - cow-like, about 3 feet tall. Mostly pink but with a black hood-like pattern on their head, a couple of black spots on their backs and a white stomach with 4 udders. They have long tails ending in black balls.
Charmeleon - A red lizard about two, three feet tall, its skull has a horn-like protrusion at the back and a snout. It stands on two legs. Like most fire types, charmeleon and its evolved and pre-evolved forms have a flame on the end of their tails, without which, they'd die.
Houndoom - Large black dogs with red snouts and stomachs they have curled back, grey horns and 3 similar coloured bands on its back, they also have two grey cuffs an each ankle and a long black tail ending in an arrow.
Steelix - Simple enough, a huuuuuuuge metal snake the size of a train, it is made up of boulders of steel, most of which bearing one or two metal spikes, it ends in a spike of a tail. It has a large, lumpy head with a huge jaw and "angry eyes".
i think that's everything, if there's still something you don't understand, i recomend bulbapedia.
The next day charmeleon, hitmontop and i met jasmine in the pokemon center (pokemon centers have dorms for trainers to stay overnight in),
"so have you decided what you're going to do about charmeleon yet?" asked jasmine,
"i have actually" i said "i was thinking about it last night and i remembered something Silver said. He said he got charmeleon in johto as an egg and hatched him (i assume he hatched him in johto)"
"so what's you're point?"
"well, apart from charicific valley, you don't get mant fire types in johto because it's a pretty cold region in comparison."
"you know you're right about that" said jasmine "come to think of it, i think johto is the only region i know of without a volcano"
((as the author im thinking of kanto, johto, hoenn and the sevii isles as regions, i don't know about sinnoh, i don't have those games))
"right, so i was thinking if charmeleon left johto and went somewhere warmer, he might learn to use fire attacks eventually" all this time charmeleon had been listening intently. The pokemon nurse, nurse joy walked over,
"im sorry, i could'nt help overhearing" she said "did you say you're having trouble with your charmeleon?"
"yeah, he can't use fire attacks" i said,
"right" said nurse joy "it's just that i have a sister who works at the pokemon center in a place called lavaridge town in hoenn, she's an expert on fire types because lavarige's gym is a fire gym and the town's at the foot of a volcano"
"well that sounds perfect" i say "if i take charmeleon there i'm sure he'll learn fire attacks soon",
"but how will you get there?" asked jasmine "hoenn's a long boat ride southwest of johto, it's probably quite expensive, although..." she looked thoughtfull for a second "you know you win prize money for beating a gym leader" she said with a grin,
"no i didn't know that" i said "so if i beat you i'd have enough money for the boat ride?",
"mmm not quite" said jasmine "but if you beat me, then took a boat to cianwood and beat chuck, that might give you enough, but don't get ahead of yourself, you're still a rookie trainer so beating two gym leaders might just be out of your capabilities",
"you know what? i'll do it!" i said "i mean it's worth a try, are you free now?",
"yes i am" she said "let's go" and we left for the gym.
At the gym Jasmine said "i think one on one is fair, seeing as charmeleon isn't really up to fighting steel types",
"right" i said "you ready hitmontop?", hitmontop gave me an enthusiastic look and ran forwards.
"then i guess i'll go with aggron" said jasmine throwing aggron's pokeball, "you ready?",
"ready" i said "let's start with triple kick!" hitmontop leapt up to aggron and prepared to kick,
"metal claw!" said jasmine. Unlike charmeleon's metal claw, aggron's overpowered hitmontop emmensly, sending him flying across the gym,
"ok, let's try rapid spin!" hitmontop spun on the spot,
"rapid spin?" asked jamine incredulously "what are you trying to prove? aggron mega punch!" Aggron leapt at hitmontop with a clenched fist,
"now dodge!" still spinning, hitmontop shot out of the way as aggrons punch pounded the gym floor "mach punch!" with the hand on hitmontop's side still in the floor aggron was powerless to dodge or counter as hitmontop knocked aggron backwards "brick break!", while aggron was on its back hitmontop rushed towards it,
"now rollout" said jasmine. Aggron's spinning on the spot caused hitmontop's punch to roll off harmlessley. "now attack!" aggron thundered towards hitmontop, still in a ball,
"mach punch!" jasmine looked confused, we both knew that a head on collision was a win for aggron. As hitmontop and aggron shot towards each other i shouted "jump hitmontop!" hitmontop dived into the air, just clearing aggron,
"attack again!" shouted jasmine. I knew what jasmine was doing, every rollout attack was severely more powerful than the previous one, but the next one would make the third and only five rollouts could be used at once.
"mach punch again!" i shouted over aggrons now thunderous rolling,
"not gonna work twice i'm afraid" said jasmine. As they neared i shouted,
"jump hitmontop!" and coughed loudly,
"you jump too aggron", luckily though, hitmontop, unlike jasmine, got the hint and instead slid underneath aggron as it jumped into the air. "oh very clever" said jasmine, applauding sarcastically "let's see you dodge this one! Aggron, rollout in circles!", aggron rolled in a huge circle, the width of the gym and started rolling down the gym towards hitmontop.
"rapid spin!" i shout, "and get ready to rush forwards!", as hitmontop spun on his head i watched aggron's movements carefully, waiting for an opening, soon after aggron made its spin to the left that would hit hitmontop, "now go right!" hitmontop spun around aggron, not even getting near it, "last rollout, jasmine" i said,
"i know" she said "better make the most of it",
"hey hitmontop, you remember the scyther at the park?" hitmontop stopped spinning and smiled at me,
"ok, no fancy tricks aggron, just rush at hitmontop and make sure this one hits!", the ground shook as aggron used its final rollout,
"now hitmontop!" i shout, hitmontop shoots around the gym and behind aggron with mach punch,
"aggron behind you!" shouted jasmine,
"hit it from above with brick break!" hitmontop's powerful punch disrupted aggron's rollout but, still moving at incredible speed, aggron smashed into the opposite wall with a crash, "now mach punch!" if smashing into the wall hadn't finished aggron off, hitmontop's mach punch did the trick, aggron was finished.
"that's incredible" said jasmine, withdrawing aggron to its pokeball, "i've always known a level five rollout was dangerously powerful but i've never seen that power used to a competetor's advantage, that was quite a strategy",
"heh, thanks, the whole 'using your own strength against you' was a last minute inspiration" i laughed,
"well, that was a worthy battle indeed so it gives me great pride to give you the mineral badge, oh, i just realised, you don't have a trainer card, do you?" she asked,
"no, i don't" i said "do i need one?",
"well yeah alex" said jasmine "the card doesn't only show your collected badges, but it also registers any money you win by beating gym trainers, and then you use it at stores like a credit card. Come on, we can print you one at reception". We went into the reception area and had the man behind the counter print out a trainer card for me, it had my name, photo, moey and badges recorded on it. "and here" said jasmine "this a gift i give to trainers who give me a good battle." She handed me a small box with a number 23 on it "it's my favourite TM, iron tail"
((the games aren't really clear on physically what TMs are untill pokemon emerald where they were shown as being CDs, but as i don't really see how that would work, i'm doing what they did in the manga where TMs are small cubes that are opened near the pokemon. TMs are for teaching pokemon new attack moves and can only be used once.))
"thanks jasmine" i say, and i put it in my TM case. In there already i have the goldenrod city collection of; fire puch, thunder punch and ice punch.
"so you'll be off to cianwood now right?" asked jasmine "hey listen, i never really thanked you for what you did at the miltank farm. So here" she handed me a pokeball "it's just to borrow, you understand, but you can ride her to cianwood to save you money on the ferry". I took the pokeball outside and opened it, inside was a a bird pokemon big enough for be to ride, like aggron it was coated in metal (even its feathers) and had a helmet-like skull, the underside of its wings were red and it had a sharp tail. "it's my skarmory!" said jasmine "i think they're the only steel-flying types in the world, anyway, you can ride her to cianwood and when you get there just send here back by the pokemon teleport systems"
"thanks for everything jasmine" i say,
"you too, and enjoy hoenn" she said, and i took of on skarmory's back for cianwood.
