... because this doesn't make sense to my lil' American head at all.
Surely the BBC is supposed to be impartial all the time, not just when we're waiting for Mr Blair to tell us when we can have a swing at democracy.
Perhaps you could check the rule book again, just in case there's been something of an over-reaction on the part of h2g2.
I can't believe it was ever meant to be like this.

Thanks Peta. Of course, I did read all the postings before posting myself.
I just think you may be airing a little too much on the side of caution. And while I don't think you should always throw caution to the wind (ok, enough clichés), it seems to me that if you haven't already cast your decision in a tablet of stone (last one, definitely), perhaps you guys could sit down again with some fresh cappuccino... and come to a different conclusion. Please.
