Are you the tart as well? Or the 'simple little dish'?

Would it be as well to put a paragraph explaining Amaretto to those who have never tasted it before?

Perhaps some serving suggestions at the end...

In the instructions, you haven't made the connection between Amaretto and the mentioned 'liqueur'.

And it's mascarpone cheese, not marscapone. I'm sure you pronounce it like that, being all soft and Southern, but it's spelled the first way.

Good to see you around, leastways. smiley - ok

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Two typos:

almond-tasting
and
hurtling into the 21st Century

Oven conversions (°F and gas mark) for the cooking temperature perhaps? And how many grams is 8oz?

Shouldn't the Subheaders be Headers? And does the 'st' of '21st' need to be in Superscripts?

No, and no. And in that order.

I think the entry is too short to need headers, even for the PDA platform, and we don't use superscript for that purpose.

Yeah you can see how it looks if you chuck pda in the link like this:

Isn't that marvellous?

Well, I thought so. smiley - tongueoutsmiley - oksmiley - laugh

TRiG (Ireland) A dog, so bade in office

That's odd. Having the name of the skin in the written link doesn't usually affect the actual link, so people aren't catapulted from one skin to another. Obviously PDA is an exception.

8oz = 220g
180C = 350F = Gas Mark 4

How can it only take "20 minutes to prepare" (opening para) when it's supposed to go in the oven for 25 minutes?

Preparation time isn't the same as cooking time. Twenty minutes to peel, core, slice the apples, mix the ingredients etc. Then 25 minutes to cook.

You're probably right. It could probably do with some clarification in the opening para.

What are the typical dimensions of a biscuit tin for where you are (how thin to spread cheese, just how small *are* those apples if you're cutting them thin)?

I grew up near apple growing territory and Braeburns are a new cultivar that I just found out about a few years ago. Are Braeburns internationally known, or should we describe what they taste like and their baking quality?

Should the pastry be like a puff pastry, like a pie crust (tender and flaky) or like filo?

Mmm, sounds delicious! smiley - drool I'd never heard of amaretto - but then, I'm no lady, though I am increasingly of a certain age. smiley - erm

One lingering typo: there's a reference to '25 minnutes' in the opening sentence.

I have fixed the typo

The pastry is puff, as mentioned in the ingredients, not filo.

As for the baking tray - it is a standard oven baking tray the same the world over - I have no idea of its dimensions, so I shall investigate
