Who runs the country?

Ask yourself who runs the country and you will answer "the government" yes ok on the face of it that is the way it looks. "Ok. so who does run the country then?" i hear you ask. Ok, the media runs the country. How? easy the media print bad things about who they do not want in parlement and good about who they do want in parlement. So you see anytime we vote the media have influenced who we vote for. Anytime a new law or something needs us to vote for or against. The media decide for us and tell us how to vote. And correct me if im wrong but the media decide what is "NORMAL" or fashionable. This is the main reason for the closed minded people in this country the media are running the country by telling us all what to do. How to vote. What to eat. What to put on or body as "FASHION" it has been proved time and again the power the media has. most of the time its all bad news(not all the time just most). Ask yourself why we have to pay for tv programs most of us will not watch, or cannot because of a terrible picture. Any other company trying this would be shut by trading standards. Not only that the majority of the country is now digital in some way because in the next few years or so analog tv will end making the tv licence obselete because digital will have the option to let people opt out of the bbc. But will they allow this? NO. Every other form of tv entertainment is paying for itself eg: ITV, CHANNEL 4, CHANNEL 5 and sky\telewest and so on so we are all paying twice to watch tv. Why pay twice? Another thing that has always bothered me is road tax, again we are the only country on the planet that needs to pay twice to drive on public roads. When will the rip off end?
