Didn't most of my teachers assigning a high % of ones overall grade to their ability to do turn in homework?

Wasn't there thinking that if someone was working hard enough but didn't quite get it they should be rewarded?

Isn't that a nice thought but kind of silly at the same time?

Shouldn't someone who does not get the subject matter but is willing to work extra hard be rewarded with more face to face teacher time so that they will be able to understand the subject matter?

Isn't the idea of doing homework so that you can practice what you have learned in class?

After learning how to do something and if you have a firm grasp of the subject shouldn't you be able to move on to the next lesson without having to spend hours practicing the same thing over and over even thought you understand how and why something is done the way it is?

Isn't that one of the reasons I hardly ever turned in any homework?

Because of my homework practices didn't my grades suffer?

Didn't I learn what was being taught well enough to ace any test they gave me though?

Isn't that why even though I didn't get good grades I still passed?

Could that be another reason why most of those AP students didn't like me?

Didn't I usually do better then them on tests even though my grades where not as high?

Did they think it was unfair that I could be on the same level as them but not care about the grades I got?

Did they think that I must have been cheating somehow to appear as smart as them but not have the grades that they judged there own self worth on?

Could that of caused fractures on there foundation of said self worth and caused them to judge the person on actions instead of badges or outward appearances such as grades?

Did it also bug them because most of them came from well to do families and they tended to judge people on there clothes and I was from a not so well to do family and wore what I wanted to the heck with fashion?

Could it of been that and the added insult to them the ones in the class (most of them) that felt they must go along with society and be termed cool or do what the in crowd did and I did what I wanted to do weather they liked it or not?

Could I be making all this up or did it actually happen?

Haven't I talked to a bunch of my friends that I made after HS and found that they went through much the same thing?

Isn't possible that someone who was crazy enough to read this rant also had similar experiences?
