Revolving doors

0 Conversations

Instead of slowing you down, the revolving door simply reverses your direction of
motion (a demonstration of the First Law of Thermodynamics).
The frustration this instils in the user increases entropy (a demonstration of the
Second).
Revolving doors are often installed in the reception areas of corporate headquarters,
although whether this is to keep the staff "indoors" or the public "outdoors" has never
been adequately established.
How such corporations obtain new recruits from the general public is also a mystery
(as indeed is the method by which staff members who have been fired/retired/died of
door-induced frustration leave the building).
