Our arrival...

<p>We were just outside the Horseshoe nebula finishing up a plasma retrieval mission when we were ambushed by the dreaded Capitalians. Caught us completely by surprise. A destructo blast sent us reeling through space and time. None of the controls were operating. Out of nowhere a small blue/green rock suddenly appeared. Smacked right into it. Are manual planetary landing devices were functioning properly so we landed in a field miles away from civilization. </p>

<p>Covertly, we explored the surface to the best of our means. With disguises, we landed a job at a dry-cleaning facility.<BR/>

For 5 months we did our cleaning duties while our courier went to search out the people, history and culture of this little blue/green rock you call earth. Imagine our surprise when we learned about your inter-net. We in our galactic social life have something much the same as your inter-net, but it is a fruit-drink and is taken as a leisurely pass time. Ofcourse we learned about the corruption of the leaders of this world (as they say:as above, so below). Yet, even though our time here was rather interisting, our ship's engineer had made the necessary repairs and it was time to leave. And yet, something troubled us...</p>

<p>We had grown found of you humaniods. How could we leave you when your planet is on the verge of disaster? Thats when we made the decision to do something. As you may not know, their were 16 of us at the time. We took off our disguises, marched right up to the entrance of the white house and announced to the guard that 'we wish to be taken to your leader.' That didn't work. So we went to the Ab Lincoln memorial to make our first speech....</p>

<p>"...Do not be alarmed! What you are about to see is real. Your planet is in shambels. The capitalistic powers that control your little blue/green rock have made a mockery of creation. Do they think that the gift of self-awarness is to be used in such wasteful manners? Nevertheless, it is are solemn undertaking that we undermine these maggots who treat this earth like a rotting corps. Come now all you who labor and suffer; come, all of you who are weak or sick; come that you may join the fight for a better future on your planet.<h2> The man has gone far enough!!!"<h3></p>

<p> We didn't get far with that, either. Although some did listen, maybe due to shock, the panic it alerted drew in a federal van full of humans in funny uniforms. They thought that somehow they could apprehend us. They did nabb one of my crew but he self-destructed himself while they were on the freeway. No mention of this at all in the media.</p>

<p>So, ultimatly, we settled for a web page. And what better place to have one then on H2G2!!!</p>
