To get my dearheart's friend to stop flirting with him cause he doesn't like it, and her boyfriend shouldn't like it, and I'm not fond of it, and people are getting miserable because she threats to hurt herself if my dearheart doesn't want to be with her. And, for some odd reason, namely myself, he doesn't....

You don t need to stop her - she has got to stop it. So you better go onto the quest of your dearhearts opinion, (I would say), cause she isn t seeming to flirting with you. And if she wants to "hurt herself" (Do you meen she wants to comit suicide???) you should go in quest for a shrink. And a good one...
