Relient K

And as long as you ignore the slow songs, they're really cool and have a awesome sense of humor..and the slower ones have some merits too....
They have a lot of pop-culture references in their songs...
Especially in 'Pink Tux to the Prom (In Love With the '80s)', which is currently one of my favorite songs of theirs...
And as of when I'm writing this, Relient K is currently climbing the Charts, reaching #10 on MTV's TRL...and playing live there tomorrow, at 2:00pm EST on MTV...
They have released 4 albums at present:
Relient K (it's self titled)- 2000:
This one is the most Christian CD of theirs, with a song about how Satan has consumed his girlfriend's mind because she listens to Marilyn Manson....
The Anatomy of Tongue in Cheek - 2001: The start doing more with wordplay, and start going a bit more "mainstream"...
This one has at least one song relating to the cartoon "Thundercats",
which my friend tells me the band members of Relient K are obsessed with(along with lime Jell-o).
Two Lefts Don't Make a Right, But Three Do - 2003: In the year between this one and Anatomy of tongue and cheek, Relient K got more punk-ish... I listened to MMhmm too much in a row, and this one was just what i was looking for...
MMhmm- 2004: Well...if you watch MTV, you've already heard 'Be My Escape' So much for me finding a band that not very many people have heard of...This one and 'Two Lefts' are without a doubt my favorite ones...
Basically the point of all this is: Relient K...They have nice wordplay, and cool humor in there songs...Very good, despite being christian... And of course This is all just the random ramblings and opinions of a teenage girl...but if you haven't heard of relient K, I suggest checking this band out...
