Barking up the Wrong Tree

1 Conversation

While it is often a safe bet to use the internationally recognised canine dialect of barking to converse with most beings in the natural world, it can often cause offence. This is especially true in the case of trees, who are actually very intelligent. Some, especially the elm, take it as a personal insult if one attempts to converse with them in this manner, and will refuse to respond. If you mistakenly find yourself in this position, avoid further humiliation by finding another tree, and try talking, not barking.
